(SMU) - SMU freshman Tova Magnusson placed 12th in the finals of the 3,000-meter steeplechase, earning her Second Team All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday. Sophomore Lucija Cvitanovic took 17th in the heptathlon, including posting the top mark in the javelin portion of the event.
